Tools for Securing Your Website
Once you have your SSL cert installed, it's always a good idea to test it to make sure everything is in order. Perhaps the most common issue is an incomplete CA chain, which is quickly identified using this tool.
If you do find out you have an incomplete CA chain on the certificate you installed, then you can quickly recreate your certificate to include the complete CA chain using certificatechain.io. Simply paste you issued certificate text or opload the file, and it will give you a certificate hash that includes the complete CA chain.
Then simply replace the content of your cert file on your server with this one, restart the server, and all should be in order. Of course, make sure to re-run the ssl tests again as explained in the first section.
